Kwartalnik „Intercathedra”

Jest mi niezwykle miło poinformować, że od listopada 2017 roku pełnię zaszczytną funkcję redaktora naczelnego czasopisma wydziałowego Intercathedra.

Kwartalnik „Intercathedra” wydawane jest od 1990 roku. W tym czasie następowały w nim zmiany – od wewnętrznego biuletynu publikującego referaty ze wspólnych konferencji naukowych dwu Katedr: Katedry Ekonomiki i Organizacji Drzewnictwa z Poznania oraz Katedry Podnikového Hospodárstwa (Katedry Ekonomiki Przedsiębiorstwa) ze Zwolenia, po czasopismo umieszczane systematycznie od 2003 roku w ocenach Komitetu Badań Naukowych i od 2009 – w „Ujednoliconym wykazie czasopism punktowanych” – Ministerstwa Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego. Od 2013 – posiada ocenę 10 pkt.

Dotychczasowym redaktorem naczelnym czasopisma był prof. dr hab. Wojciech Lis, któremu uprzejmie dziękuję za dotychczasową pracę i wkład włożony w rozwój czasopisma. Od 1996 do 2017 roku za obsługę redakcyjną i wydawniczą czasopisma odpowiedzialni byli pracownicy naukowi Katedry Ekonomiki i Organizacji Drzewnictwa w Poznaniu. Od 2008 roku jest dostępna bez ograniczeń wersja elektroniczna czasopisma zamieszczana jest na stronie internetowej Uniwersytetu Przyrodniczego w Poznaniu – www.up.poznan.pl/intercathedra. Znajdują się tam roczniki 2004-2010 oraz kwartalniki 2011/1–2017/3. Od listopada 2017 roku czasopismo jest wydawane przez Wydział Ekonomiczno-Społeczny Uniwersytetu Przyrodniczego w Poznaniu.

Kwartalnik „Intercathedra” publikuje wyniki badań poświęconych problematyce ekonomicznej i społecznej w sektorze rolno-żywnościowym i na obszarach wiejskich. Są to oryginalne prace naukowe w języku angielskim.

INTERCATHEDRA journal publishes original scientific articles in English.

GHOSTWRITING AND GUEST AUTHORSHIP FIREWALL

The editors take action to eliminate ghostwriting and guest authorship practices. When detected, all such cases will be disclosed, including the possibility to send due notification to relevant entities (institutions employing authors, scientific societies, scientific editors associations, etc.). The editors also document all forms of violation and infringement of ethics in science.

An act of ghostwriting occurs when a person who makes a significant contribution to the writing of a publication does not reveal their participation as one of the authors or their input is not listed in the acknowledgements in the publication.

An act of guest authorship (honorary authorship) occurs when the author’s or co-author’s contribution to the publication is negligible or has not taken place at all.

In order to avoid such cases the Editors require that each author’s input in the publication should be revealed (including their affiliation and contribution, i.e. providing information about the author(s) of the concept, assumptions, methods, protocol, etc. used for preparation of the publication). It is the corresponding author who takes main responsibility.

If the publication is financed by scientific research institutions, associations or other entities, it is necessary to provide information about the source of financing (financial disclosure).

Editorial requirements concerning articles to be published in INTERCATHEDRA quarterly journal

Basic requirements

Only original scientific articles, which have not been published before, will be accepted for publication.
An article must not be longer than six printed A4 pages, including figures and tables. Articles must be prepared in the .doc or .docx format.
Times New Roman 10 pts font and single interspaces must be used. The text may be distinguished with bold type or italics.
Figures and tables must be numbered in order and placed close to their reference in the text or in separate files, indicating their position. The size of a figure must not exceed the B5 format (12.5 × 19.5 cm).
Layout

Author’s (authors’) first name(s) and surname(s) – bold italic 12 pts font, left alignment. Place a footnote with the author’s (authors’) institution, its address and e-mail at the bottom of the first page, italic 10 pts font (affiliation).
Title of Article – bold 14 pts font, block capitals, centred alignment, 12 pts interspace before and after the title.
Abstract – up to 900 characters, 10 pts font, full alignment.
Keywords – up to 10 words, listed in the top-down order.
Main text – headings – bold 12 pts font, capitals, left alignment, extra 6 pts in top interspace; main text – 10 pts, full alignment. When making references to publications in the article, the author’s name and year of publication must be given in chronological order in parentheses, e.g. [Adamski 2010, Wiśniewski 2013] or indicated as follows: … according to Kowalski [2005]…
Figures and tables – centred alignment, only black and white, the title must be placed under the figure and above the table, the source must be provided.
All figures (pictures, diagrams, tables, charts) should additionally be attached in separate files in an editable format to allow correcting.
Conclusions – should be listed in points or presented in a descriptive form.
References – numbered items, listed in alphabetical order, as follows:
